i look at where i've been
the trenches of a life from which i've risen.
i fear to make those same mistkaes
that over time
overturned my life.
i searched
focused
overcame
and swam again
throughout the abyss
we are all wading in
there is an awakening
with no attempt to sedate
that warns me not to make the same mistakes.
brick by brick
the night eclipsed
intrinsic transition
perfectly aligned
lifted high
above the waves
my soul
saved
old patterns and walls
rejected
sail away
i am open to and becoming
one with grace
floating high
above the ties that bind.
