How amazing time is.
How fast and for granted we take it.
We ride through like a wave,
sinking beneath the surface
sometimes.
Unable to swim, or cope, or speak.
And sometimes we float.
Atop the cold glass-like window,
looking down upon our trials
pass by,
relieving gasp of freely breathing
underneath the wave that sweeps us eventually to the shore
of our demise.
How fast and for granted we take it.
We ride through like a wave,
sinking beneath the surface
sometimes.
Unable to swim, or cope, or speak.
And sometimes we float.
Atop the cold glass-like window,
looking down upon our trials
pass by,
relieving gasp of freely breathing
underneath the wave that sweeps us eventually to the shore
of our demise.
